Question by MthrNatures_Son: Would the Garden Weasel or Garden Claw work well in my situation?
I have a small front yard and back yard. My house was bank owned before I bought it and sat vacant for a year. The yards are dead. I want to plant seed. Should I rent a rototiller or can I do the job with the garden weasel or garden claw. I don’t know anything about this except that I want an affordable way to get the job done.

If your yard is good size then you will waste more time and energy with a hand held tool as opposed to renting a tiller. They are pretty cheap to rent for a day and get the job done quick and effective. Probably more effective then if you were to do it yourself. If you have a small area that you are doing then the claw would make sense as you would be able to do it quickly and the you would own the tool for later tilling.
