Why do Teetotalers and neo-Prohibitionists respond to questions in Beer Wine & Spirits?

Why do I constantly have to sift through responses from people ignorantly preaching about the "evils of alcohol" and spreading erroneous information about Beer Wine and Spirits?
Doesn’t it seem kind of odd, since this is a forum for people to discuss… Beer Wine & Spirits?!
I’m sick of seeing, "Don’t drink. It’s bad. It will ruin your life. There’s nothing good about it. You’ll become and alcoholic and die. You’ll make Baby Jesus cry…"
Does anyone else see the irony in this? Why does this go on?
I honestly never noticed the questions weren’t seperated on the main page. That makes sense. It still seems ridiculous, though, that they choose to answer, even after they see that the Q was posted in BW&S.
Phoenix MPA – Because it’s not as simple as a "negative view of the subject." I work in the beer industry, and I am a Beer Advocate. I don’t stroll into an AA meeting with a keg and tell them to drink up. It’s just as inappropriate for someone to post a response in here talking about the evils of liquor! Neo-Prohibitionist scare tactics and misinformed rhetoric has no place in BW&S.
Cheers!
