Question by mh1286: What are the best garden vegetables and herbs for a Central North Texas garden?
I have a garden in Central North Texas. I have two dogs. We have had success with sweet basil, rosemary, sage, and mint. We are looking for some more plants to occupy our backyard. We are looking for vegetables, herbs and large types of bushes to occupy the space and tall plants would be great. Please provide some suggestions that would go well. Like perennials, shrubs, ornamental shrubs and flowering shrubs. Thanks!

Dwarf banana trees, dwarf fruit trees. there is a dwarf 5-1 apple tree that is very cool. Good Luck
