Question by Desiree: Even if the Christian creation myth is metaphorical, it still doesn’t explain anything, right?
I mean, this ridiculous myth has absolutely no correlation to reality as modern science understands it, right? If the Christian creation myth is one big metaphor, where is the meaning in this metaphor? Is it only to let us know that a god made the universe? If this is the only meaning in it, then why have all this mumbo jumbo about a magical garden, a talking snake and a pair of horny naked teenagers? To try to weasel around this creation myth by saying it is metaphorical doesn’t make the myth any more realistic or plausible, right?

Best answer:

Answer by Houze iz in da Hizzy!
You know all of us atheists think this…So why do you feel the need to ask? is it for validation?

I’m looking to buy a dozen roses and I’m sort of on a budget, so I’ve deeply considered buying them from Walmart. I’ve been told this is the cheapest place possible, but I’m concerned about the quality.

As long as they long for about 3 days, it should be fine, and I’m getting them in-store, so I can pick out the good ones… right?

Best answer:

Answer by centralmaine
Oh my god my boyfriend bought me a dozen of walmart roses for valentines last year, they lasted one day, were droopy and wilted after one day, in water, and taken care of. They looked ok when he brought them home, but they do not last at all.

Answer by centralmaine
Oh my god my boyfriend bought me a dozen of walmart roses for valentines last year, they lasted one day, were droopy and wilted after one day, in water, and taken care of. They looked ok when he brought them home, but they do not last at all.
