Question by Falux: Do plants get all the energy they need behind normal glass?
Do plants in your house / apartment get all they need from the sun when the windows are closed? I was wondering, as some filtering obviously happens, and I heard about special green house glass too.

Depending on the type of windows you have most of the will come in and reach the plant, unless you had tinted windows or something to that effect. So YES, plants do get all the light they need threw your windows. Another thing about plants being inside is that the higher than normal CO2 levels will help a plant grow faster. Hope this helps…
