Dragon is one of the most widely accepted imaginary creatures which has been an important part of the East Asian way of life. The creation of this beautiful creature comes originally from China. The body of dragon is scaly like any other serpent but it also has four legs with big foot and five claws on each claw.

Like China Europeans too have their dragons but they have different physical qualities and also in their meaning as European dragon has negative implications.

If you read through history you will find that Chinese dragon plays evil as well as positive role throughout the ancient history. The dragon symbol has eternally represented positive power which is evident from all the folk tales and artistic expressions that we have seen from China.

The Chinese dragon takes on various qualities which the Chinese people have credited to it. It is rarely known that the Chinese dragon is the male symbol representing yang. Then again it is taken as a symbol to bring rain and water where the people are doing agriculture for a living.

Did you know that Chinese dragon has a female counter part? Well it’s true and it is called phoenix. But the western people seem to assume that the Chinese have formally adopted Chinese dragon as official symbol. In fact this is totally incorrect.

However going through Chinese history you will find that Chinese dragon symbol indeed was related to the Chinese monarchy. The Yuan dynasty ruler would not allow any subject to use this symbol in their life. During Qing dynasty the Chinese dragon was brought back into public life by adopting it on the national flag.

In the current years Chinese people have become aware of the consequence of the Chinese Dragon symbol on western society and they are trying desperately to do away with the Dragon symbol. It is felt that the west takes Dragon symbol to be a symbol of war. To rectify this Chinese have come up with the idea of giant panda symbol which now they use as official symbol.

Chinese Dragon plays an important role in giving ethnic identity to Chinese people even today when some of them feel that they are the descendants of the Dragon and they truly have faith in the powerful symbol. The identification of a nation with an animal is a tendency which started in 1970s when the Mongols felt that they have characteristics of wolf and Tibetans felt that they are descendants of monkeys.

The Chinese dragon symbol still occupies a special place in modern Chinese society. More than anything else however it is used solely for decorative purposes. From advertisement campaigns to T-shirts, posters and tattoos the symbol of the dragon can be seen throughout the streets of China.

Ants appear to be pretty innocuous to most people. In most temperate climates, ants do very little damage, although red ants bite people all over the planet. However, there are more serious ants in warmer countries and some of these ants can even be responsible for hospitalzations and even a few fatalities. Red ant bites itch and even hurt, but imagine a baby falling onto a red ant nest.

What if that infant fell onto a fire ant nest or a red carpenter ant nest? Carpenter ants can be an inch (25 mm) long and a bite can draw blood. There are poisonous ants in South America and exploding ants in Southeast Asia, although they will not kill humans. Soldier ants are quite frightening too. In fact, the amount of dangerous ants in the warmer countries can be worrying.

Indeed, only a fortnight ago, my male dog was plastered in big red marks all over his stomach and under carriage. He was obviously in great pain when he walked and was off his food. It has been very hot here in Thailand this summer because the monsoon was late, so he probably dug a shallow hole in the soil to keep cool. He was probably swarmed by ants while he was asleep, but could not shake them off. He was in a very bad way for three days.

Some ants are vegetarians but others will happily eat meat, if it is on offer. Most ants will eat dead insects and small, dead animals. Some will also attack fit animals, including humans, if they feel threatened.

One trouble is that insects can become resistant to chemical controls and sometimes this immunity is localized, so it is better not to use chemicals if you can help it. Chemicals can also present a hazard to children, which makes storing them and using them even more dangerous.

Boric acid is a derivative of boron which is a natural product. Boric acid is very good at destroying insects that take food back to their colonies, so this includes ants and termites. It can be mixed with sugar and water to make it more appealing to ants or can be spread around the garden with no danger. It is risk-free to children and pets alike.

Cayenne pepper is another deterrent-cum-killer. Grow your own cayenne peppers, liquidize them and add to boiling water, then spray over ants and ant runs when it has chilled. It will not kill a colony, but it will stop foraging ants.

Corn meal is a way of ant and cockroach extermination. Spread it about and when the insects eat it, it will expand up with their digestive juices and cause them to explode. Not very nice, but gratifying all the same.

There are other natural remedies for destroying or discouraging insects too, some are favourites of one country or local people. Why don’t you ask around the older people where you live and find out what their parents used to use to control ants and other insects the natural way?

Owen Jones, the writer of this article writes on quite a few subjects, but is at present involved with Getting Rid Of Carpenter Ants. While there are some people who will want to buy or adopt a puppy like that of a German Shepard, the Hungarian Vizslas is one that is bred for doing all of sorts of tasks. You will find that this dog belongs to group of gun dogs. When people refer to this dog breed you will find that they use many different names.

These include names such as Hungarian Wire-haired Pointing Dog, Drotzr MagyarVizsla, Wirehaired Vizslas and the Hungarian Wirehaired Vizlas. You can find this dog by using any of the names mentioned above. Now looking at a Vizslas, you will find that this is a dog having average proportions. Also the dog is very friendly and social in nature.

The original purpose of breeding such a dog was to use it as a guide dog in game hunting sessions. The dog is an invaluable companion for hunters because of its ability to retrieve game both from land as well as water. You will find that the Hungarian Vizslas are very energetic dogs as they were originally bred solely for the purpose of use in hunting. The best way to dissipate such large amounts of energy is by taking your dog for a walk. You can also throw a stick or ball for your dog to go and fetch.

These simple activities will allow your Hungarian Vizslas to work off the overly exuberant energy that is being shown. While there are many different dogs which adjust quite well to apartment living you will discover that this is one breed of dog which does not have this capability. The lack of space and sometimes coupled with the lack of exercise will turn your Hungarian Vizslas into a destroying machine.

Provided that you take care of your pet you will find that the Hungarian Vizslas can live for a number of years. Current information shows the Vizslas is capable of living for about 12 to 15 years. The grooming of a dog like this is relatively easy. You will need to use a firm bristle brush and also the occasional dry shampoo.

Now you will be pleased to note that the Hungarian Vizslas breed was created around about the 1930s. From this beginning point you have the breed that we are familiar with. By looking at the various criteria like temperament, living conditions, grooming and the description of dogs you will find that you have an excellent Hungarian Vizslas breed on your hands.

Question by ♪ ♫ ☮ NYbron ☮ ♪ ♫: Do you feel bad for the animals that your pets catch and kill?
My dog killed a woodchuck today that wandered into the garden. He brought it in and laid it right down on the kitchen floor. There wasn’t any blood or anything, he must have broken its neck. I felt sorry for it. Anyone else get the same feelings or am I some kind of softy? Should I just chalk it up to “Nature’s Way”?

Best answer:

Answer by dances_with_unicorns1955
My cats live indoors, so there’s nothing for them to kill. I think that you really *do* have to chalk it up to your dog being a dog, and not a human. If your dog broke the woodchuck’s neck, then the woodchuck didn’t suffer, so I don’t think you need to feel tremendously sorry for it. It’s just the way the world works. If you don’t want your dog killing other animals, then find a way to discipline him properly, or keep him indoors.

Question by AndiGravity: So, if everything was vegeterian in the Garden of Eden, why’d God make some animals venomous?
Okay, now we all know (or at least I hope everyone reading this question knows) that some animals simply cannot live off vegetable matter. They’re what you call obligate carnivores, and they HAVE to consume meat in order to live. Cats, ferrets, snakes, spiders, etc… all are obligate carnivores (with the exception of a fussy little spider that lives on acacia leaves), and they’ll starve to death if they don’t get meat, no matter how much vegetable matter you throw at them. Their digestive systems simply cannot digest vegetable matter.

When this is pointed out, Creationists often like to say “there was no death until the fall of man, and THEN everything started eating meat”. This begs the question of how things that lack the ability to actually EAT meat (such as spiders and snakes) chewed up and swallowed their food, as they lack the teeth and/or mouth muscles for the job.

Most Creationists I’ve spoken to simply ignore that a’la dismissals like Ken Ham’s completely blase dismissal of the T-Rex by pointing out that a bear also has sharp teeth (of course, a bear also has molars, which the T-Rex notably lacks, but that’s neither here nor there).

However, for the moment I’m going to set all that aside, along with wondering what strange form of seaweed the Great White shark was designed to eat, but there is one thing I want to know…

Why did God design venomous animals if everything was vegetarian to begin with? Envenomation systems have one express purpose: to enable the venomous organism to kill other animals.

Envenomation systems are complex, they’re specific, and they only serve the one purpose. They certainly don’t serve any purpose when it comes to consuming vegetable matter.

So, why create whole groups of animals equipped with weapons that have no other purpose but to kill in a world that was intended to be devoid of death?

Best answer:

Answer by Squishy
To better incapacitate the cucumbers they ate.

Question by AndiGravity: So, if everything was vegetarian in the Garden of Eden, why did God make some animals venomous?
I asked this before but got no good Creationist responses, so I thought I’d ask again.

Answer by #9
Better question would be why a venus fly trap hehe.

I GOT IT!!!

Venom was created by God so Adam and Eve can squeeze it out and use it to season their vegetables.
