		<description>Yes, there are communities, but then you are not self-sufficient.  You rely on a community numbering 10s or 100s rather than the larger world community.

To be truly self sufficient, wander naked into the forests of the Northern Rockies.  (if you take the tools of civilization with you, you wouldn&#039;t actually be self-sufficient)  This is not actually &quot;legal&quot; but if you restrict yourself to regions sufficiently removed from human improvements, you may go unmolested for some time. (many years)</description>
