I have 6 new small sprouts growing from my "elephant ear" bulbs. Can they be separated from the main plant?

The plants have leaves that are between 30″ & 38″ in length. A first leaf sprouts then the bottom half of the stem splits and the new leaf grows out. They have been out for several months and the largest plant started to sprout small leaves until I have a total of 7. I want to make these separate plants if possible
