I am 17, I live in Springfield Ohio. My guardian’s home is both flea and bedbug infested, and I wish to move out into an apartment with a roommate. Is there any legal way to make this possible? My mother is willing to cooperate and my father isn’t in the picture.
I know emancipation isn’t legal in Ohio. What about becoming my own Guardian? I want to know if anything like that is possible. My Guardians are not my parents, they’re friends of the family. I don’t want to be here, and my Mother doesn’t want me here either.
