Do they secretly go home and pray for the things they need in life, without telling anyone? Be honest.

As an atheist you are responsible for you own life. You know that there is no “guiding hand” or any other superstitious nonsense. You just get on with it. Sometimes you stop and wonder at how fantastic life is and think how lucky we are to be here, etc., but then you continue to get on with it.
